Building Dreams since 1996

As a young man David Martin, owner of D&B Carpentry, worked for an insurance company in North Carolina doing insurance losses. He soon became partners in the company. In 1979 David joined the Air Force and was stationed in Spain for 4 year, where he learned fluent Spanish.

On his return, in 1983, David came back to Chattanooga to attend school and received a B.A. degree in Bible Studies and a Masters Degree in Theology.

Over the past decades David has built over 125 spec homes as a builder. As a carpenter he has built over 700 homes in the Chattanooga area! David is a licensed general contractor and a “hands on” builder. He actually does hands on work on framing, decking, siding and all finish carpentry. Over the years David has built a strong network of subcontractors that are reliable, quality craftsmen.

He is now the preferred builder for Cloudland Station and his homes have been featured in Southern Living Inspired Communities and This Old House magazine.
